I received this painting from my good friend Mike Lewis a while ago (and i say a while ago because i don't want to offend mike over and over again). Since then i've been trying to figure out what to do to it. what to add? To me, mike's painting was pretty much done. Finishing up the details, a little touch up here and then and puufff done! that's probably why i struggled so much with this piece.... So time went by.. too much time. Until i said f'it! mike will hate this but i will ruin his painting. it was the only way...

I've been wanting to do a little series of monotypes using this style. This piece is about 5x7. I think the monotype is a medium that goes well with this kind of style. So i'm going to do more and i will post them as soon as i can. for now i hope you enjoy this one...

New painting for a show about the human figure. I call this one "spoiled" it's an 4x10 oil on wood panel.

La culpa es del Mensajero" Calle13.

"La culpa es del mensajero" "Blame the messenger" me gusto la idea de que el mensajero es calle13... y que de ahi parta la idea de que el mensaje podia ser uno divino... o no. Asi lo relaciono con la divinidad y con el angel Gabriel. Los tatuajes en el pecho representan al angel caido. Podria adentrarme a explicar el tono religioso de esta pieza pero no lo hare. Ustedes lleguen a sus propias conclusiones. Lo que si es que debo confesar que me gusto mucho trabajar con esta directora de arte y espero poder hacerlo mas a menudo.
